Mission

The mission of The Antwerp International School is to educate young people to be responsible, caring, and productive members of a democratic society in a global community, and to prepare them for continued education. It promotes integrity, self-realization, mutual respect and understanding in a multi-cultural environment of students and teachers.



The school is concerned with the student’s social, physical, emotional and intellectual development. It is committed to excellence and to providing the best possible opportunities for growth for each student.

The approach to learning is student-centered. The curriculum is inspired by educational principles that give value to the importance of understanding, academic discipline, service, the arts and good health. The programs provide opportunities for students to work both independently and collaboratively with the goal of helping them to learn to solve problems, meet challenges and develop a respect for others’ perspectives.
