Are you ready to be challenged?

As the nation’s fifth oldest women’s college, we take pride in empowering and graduating independent, confidant and successful young women. As a small arts and sciences college, our average class size is typically no more than 20 with top-notch faculty who care not only about academic learning inside the classroom but outside, in the world, as well. Your career could be as a professional in the horse industry, as an elementary education teacher, as a leading scientist or as a famous opera singer.

Focus on the “whole person”

Our learning environment is unique in that we place special focus on not only developing our students’ minds but their hearts as well. Recognized annually as a national leader in community service and service learning, we give our students ample opportunities to get involved in the lives of those in need throughout the community and the world. With a new concentration in Missiology, our students can learn the importance of ministering to others. Past mission opportunities have included student-led restoration projects and trips to Africa, Mexico and Brazil.

The Judson Experience

• Our students have interned in the offices of physical therapists and medical doctors, with city officials in area chambers’ of commerce, with newsrooms at their hometown newspapers, in barns at well-known equine facilities, and in classrooms throughout the state.
• Named a Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs Magazine, many of our students take advantage of our unique ROTC partnership with a nearby top five military school. Also a “Yellow Ribbon School.”
• Our graduates are: The first woman to make the highest score in the nation on the OBGYN written exam, like Judi; One of only 19,000 professionals worldwide to have obtained the designation of Certified Fraud Examiner like Carla. The list goes on!
• 95 percent of our students receive some form of financial aid.
• Five USCAA Intercollegiate athletic teams and an IHSA Equestrian Team
