For more than 15 years the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) has been the unified voice representing these research-driven medical technology companies in Washington, DC. In addition to developing products that are more effective and less invasive, medical technology companies are aggressively exploring the convergence of device and biologic approaches to develop therapies that are targeted to specific patient populations. While this transformation towards personalized medicine requires significant research and development investment, the medical technology industry is committed to assisting millions of Americans in living more healthy and productive lives.
