The Pingry School

THE PINGRY SCHOOL
"The greatest respect is due students.“

Founded in 1861 by Dr. John F. Pingry, our school is nationally recognized for its academic excellence, student-driven Honor Code, and respect for each student as a unique individual. The co-educational day school serves grades K-6 at our campus in Short Hills, and grades 7-8 and 9-12 at our campus in Martinsville, New Jersey. The challenging liberal arts curriculum offers computer classes in kindergarten, foreign language beginning in first grade, 16 advanced placement courses, and required athletics, arts, and community service. Faculty and staff are involved in students’ academic, social, and emotional growth through daily advising and extracurricular activities. Our students are encouraged to explore their interests with the full support of faculty. Pingry has a 100 percent college placement record with an emphasis on the best collegiate match for the individual student. Financial aid is available for all grades and is based on need, not on academic or athletic ability.
