Its’ program is nationally accredited by the same body that accredits the University of Texas, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Unique Programs include: a Bible curriculum with related character development, EXCEL (a program that develops higher-level thinking skills), strong Liberal Arts, Science, Mathematics, and Computer Technology programs, an exemplary Music and Drama program, three Foreign Languages (Spanish, French and Latin), and a broad-range Sports Program with an unparalleled supportive Booster Club. Pre-Advanced Placement courses and Advanced Placement courses are offered and Hyde Park’s students are offered two College-prep Diploma options: the Recommended Program and the Distinguished Achievement Program.
