The University of Toledo leader of distance education in Ohio - enrolls students from across the USA, Canada and abroad. At UT, academic success in a flexible, anytime, anywhere online environment is what students can expect from the Distance Learning. For students whose busy lives and geographic location prevent them from commuting to campus, online courses provide a viable solution without comprising quality. Full-time University faculty whose careers are devoted to teaching, learning, and research bring their experience and knowledge to the online classroom. Faculty-student interaction via e-mail, chat room discussions and bulletin board postings is an integral part of the online experience at UT.
The online courses are equivalent in content to their on campus counterparts and there is no special designation on the students transcript. The University is accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association (NCA) and authorized to offer degrees online.
