Through strategic selection of programs, excellence in teaching, and a link to research missing in many competitor programs, our programs are experiencing a period of expansion and enrollment growth. We have students from across the United States and, while we began our online programs back in 2001 without a single international student, we now have students residing in Asia, Central America, and Europe. Continuing and Professional Education
UB GSE’s newest initiative in continuing and professional education reflects our goal to meet the multiple, diverse needs of the many communities we serve. Courses offered either on campus or fully online cover a wide range of topics and interests, and have been designed to accommodate the needs of busy working professionals, or those simply seeking personal enrichment. Whether building professional expertise, honing existing skills or exploring new areas, GSE’s courses will benefit anyone seeking to fulfill professional goals and aspirations.

On Campus Programs
UB GSE offers an extensive array of advanced certificates, master's and doctoral degree programs, continuing and professional education courses, opportunities for independent study and supervised experiences. In addition, our TEAC accredited Teacher Education Institute administers and coordinates the teacher certification program with study toward New York State certification in over eighteen fields.
