AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association) is the national association for health information management (HIM) professionals. Founded in 1928 to improve the quality of medical records, AHIMA is committed to advancing the HIM profession in an increasingly electronic and global environment through leadership in advocacy, education, certification, and lifelong learning. AHIMA's 46,000 members are dedicated to the effective management of personal health information needed to deliver quality healthcare to the public.

AHIMA offers education and training through its Continuing Education Campus (CEC). Our programs are developed by and in conjunction with leaders in the industry. All our courses employ sound adult and distance learning principles to ensure that learning is achieved and skills are tested.
