eLearning at NJIT
More than 25 years ago, NJIT coined and trademarked the term, Virtual Classroom®, and began to use computer-mediated means to offer lifelong learners full degrees and credentials online. Since then, the University remains an eLearning leader committed to staying abreast of the on-going demands and challenges of this new way of Learning.
With today’s commonplace electronics, the classroom can be your home, office, or any place other than the college campus. In a given week, NJIT students go to "class" any time that is best for them. And they stay in "class" for as long as necessary by logging on the computer for interactions with their professors and classmates viewing video matter for stretches of time that they alone determine. Further NJIT students can retrieve the electronic material over and over until the content is fully understood, a capability particularly useful in absorbing technical subjects.

NJIT's mission includes providing in-house corporate customized training programs for NJ-based companies, agencies and government. Now, your organization can introduce all of your employees to the advanced technology training consistent with NJIT's reputation as the leading technological research university in the state.
