Inspected annually by the Ontario Ministry of Education, the Canadian International School offers the Ontario Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme making it one of the best foreign-system institutions in Singapore. We were very pleased to receive confirmation of our associate membership in the European Council of Independent Schools (ECIS). This prestigious designation puts us in the forefront of education leaders in the world.

CIS is also proud to be an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. High school students can choose either the Ontario Secondary School Diploma  Programme or the IB Diploma Programme, both based on the education of transferable skills and knowledge. The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is offered in Grades Six to Ten, and the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is in the implementation stage.

Eighty percent of the teaching staff are trained and recruited in Canada, as required by the Ontario Ministry of Education. With over 50 nations represented in its student body, CIS provides a multicultural environment to help students understand the world and its various cultures.
