Global Masters of Business Administration
The Global MBA Program offers an accelerated one-year program option for professionals with international business experience and an undergraduate education that includes extensive business and economics coursework. The Global MBA Program draws students from every part of the world looking to build on their knowledge and experience to accelerate their careers and gain a comprehensive view of global business. The compressed structure of the program is especially suited to applicants who already have a clearly focused career goal and a plan for pursuing it when they enter. The program is designed to serve students primarily focused on employment opportunities that will take them outside the United States during their career, though they might begin their post-MBA career with a position in the U.S.
The four-quarter program begins in June with an accelerated summer MBA core curriculum, followed by a two-week international study tour. The students then complete three academic quarters of coursework, including studies in cross-cultural communication, ethics and corporate governance, and an option course in U.S. business practice. Ten elective courses, including two in global business, round out the curriculum. Elective courses from departments outside the Business School may be included in the student’s program of study.
