Woodside Park International School in North London is a co-educational independent school for students aged 2hto 18 years. The Senior Department in Friern Barnet prepares students for the International Baccalaureate middle years programme and Diploma programme in the new, specialist Sixth Form IB Centre.
The principal aim of the School is to encourage each student to develop both as an individual and as a responsible member of the community. Students are expected to give their best at all times.
Great emphasis is placed on modern technology and students use the most up-to-date facilities, with audio-visual links with its sister school in New York, the Dwight School.
The Junior Department (ages 7-11), in nearby North Finchley has all its teaching rooms in a purpose-built facility. The Junior Department (ages 4-7), and Kindergarten (ages 2h-4), are housed together close to Woodside Park underground station.
Senior students travel to the Hague in January to attend the Model United Nations Conference. Trips organised for students in Years 6, 7 and 8 during term time include Spain, France and the U.S.A.. Skiing trips are also organised during the Easter Holidays.

Art, drama and music are also taught and productions are staged in the School Hall. There is a school orchestra and choir, and many students learn to play an instrument. There is also a wide range of extra curricular activities. The School has its own sports ground, and matches are arranged with other local and international schools.
Students wishing to enrol for the International Baccalaureate Diploma can enrol on a foundation year, if they need extra support with their English. For students aged 16+coming from abroad, the school can arrange homestay accommodation with carefully selected local families.
