ASB is an independent co-educational day school. The student body is multinational, consisting of 42 nationalities and currently numbers 470 students from Pre-K to Grade 12. The American School of Bombay was the first school in India to be certified by the International Baccalaureate Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, to offer its IB Primary Years Program, IB Middle Years Program and the IB Diploma Program.
