ASB is an independent co-educational day school. The student body is multinational, consisting of 42 nationalities and currently numbers 470 students from Pre-K to Grade 12. ASB is a school that is committed to providing students with a unique and high quality education. It is already recognized throughout the region for its innovative American curriculum enriched by technology and offers all three International Baccalaureate Programmes. ASB is a leader in integrating technology into instruction with our innovative wireless tablet program.
ASB offers a wide range of courses including French, Spanish, Music, Art, Drama, Physical Education, Philosophy and a host of activities including Athletics and After School Activities. To impart the best education, the school employs a highly qualified, professional trained team of classroom teachers and staff. Currently the school employs more than 40 overseas hired staff.
The school is housed in a beautiful state-of-the-art campus in the suburbs of Mumbai, India and the facilities include air-conditioned, well equipped classrooms, a multipurpose gymnasium, two libraries, cafeteria, swimming pool, and playground area for the elementary school students. The outdoor sports grounds include a running track, soccer field, basketball and tennis courts.
The American School of Bombay is a community in itself, comprising of expatriate business executives and foreign service members, relocated to Mumbai, India.
