Education: The USF College of Public Health offers the Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), Master of Health Administration (MHA), the doctorate in Public Health (Ph.D.), and dual degrees granted with other colleges on the University of South Florida campus such as Anthropology, Social Work, Biochemistry / Moleculary Biology, Nursing and Medicine. The College offers its academic programs full-time at the Tampa campus as well as through on-line programs and the Executive MPH Weekend Program, with programs in Community & Family Health, Environmental & Occupational Health, Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Global Health, Health Policy & Management, and Public Health Practice. Numerous certificate programs are also available in both class-room and web-based format for interested learners.
The College has students from a wide range of academic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. The College draws students from diverse academic disciplines including, but not limited to: healthcare, natural sciences, business, education, engineering, law and social sciences. The curriculum features cooperative learning, research, problem-solving and field experience so that faculty and students together contribute to pursuits essential to health and human society.
