We consider analytical thinking and clear and clean communication to be the prerequisites to success in the world of law. Consequently, we stress analysis and theory in every curricular offering. We also require research and writing courses in all three years of law school.
We operate our own law firm - the Law Clinic - in which students carry their own caseload. These are not hypothetical cases out of some book. Each Clinic student handles live cases with real clients, from intake through final disposition. The Clinic, along with our trial skills program and externship opportunities, affords very practical experiences.

Approximately 100 extracurricular and co-curricular programs are open to all, including the campus radio station, Pre-Medical Society, International Student Association, and various NCAA Division I intercollegiate and intramural sports teams for men and women. Approximately 35 percent of students are members of the University's eight national fraternities and seven national sororities.
