The Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is dedicated to funding clinical and generic research on breast cancer. In October 2003, the Foundation announced more than $14.5 million in research grants to 80 stellar scientists at medical institutions across the United States and abroad. Thanks to the generosity of many over the past decade, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation has raised over $70 million to date to fuel advances in clinical and genetic research.

In independent evaluations, BCRF has been awarded the highest rating of four stars by Charity Navigator and an "A" by the American Institute of Philanthropy. A minimum of 85% of all funds raised goes directly to breast cancer research and awareness programs.

Through its Medical Advisory Board, the Foundation accelerates the process of identifying and evaluating seminal new hypotheses, which for lack of seed funding might never be possible. Funding mobilizes intellectual capital, technology and sophisticated analytic tools for this critical mission. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is proud to be an important catalyst in this lifesaving process.

Your support during our 10th Anniversary year will help make our goals a reality. Give breast cancer the punch it deserves and knock it out for good!
