Developing Global Citizens
Prem Tinsulanonda International School (PTIS), a leading regional co-educational day and boarding school, offers a top quality global curriculum from pre-kindergarten to grade 12. Located in Mae Rim, 25 kilometers north of Chiang Mai city, northern Thailand, the environment provides a quality learning experience. In line with its mission to develop global citizens, PTIS has a student population of over 30 nationalities.

Quality facilities
The 90-acre campus offers space to learn, to grow and to play. Auditorium, amphitheater, art gallery, music rooms, large gymnasium, Olympic-size swimming pool, tennis, basketball and squash courts, athletics track and football field, all enrich classroom lessons, as well as the daily after school activities program. The multi-media Library provides a 7-day resource center. Computer Lab, PCs, Audio-Visual room, service center, top quality book and periodical collections, and electronic library, all contribute to the Library's central role as the research heart of the school. It can be accessed from on-line classrooms and from boarding apartments.

Quality programs
The School, an IB World School, offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in Grades 11-12, and is implementing the curriculum based on the IB Primary Years (Grades K-5) and Middle Years (Grades 6-10) Programs. It also offers the Cambridge IGCSE in Grades 9-10. Small class sizes enable teachers to get to know their students and to give the individual help needed for effective learning. The academic program is rigorous, and individual student potential is tapped and developed in and out of the classroom.

Quality teachers
PTIS teachers have been recruited internationally with a combined teaching experience of national and international schools on all continents. Many are curriculum leaders in their fields. They come from Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Thailand, United Kingdom and United States, etc. Dedicated to the education of the whole student, teachers contribute their creative, sporting, cultural and community service talents, by taking a range of daily after-school activities.

Happy students
PTIS is a school where senior students keep a watchful eye on the younger ones, and where the younger children look up to the older students. A supportive learning environment is encouraged. Student successes are acknowledged, shared and celebrated at school assemblies and events.

Boarding
Instead of traditional dormitory-style accommodation, boarders enjoy a personal, family atmosphere, with privacy, by sharing two-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has its own lounge, kitchenette, and balcony. Boarders have their own Boarders' lounge, as well as regular access to school facilities. The campus is safe and secure, with a 24-hour Medical Center, and fully trained security personnel on duty at all times. As all teachers live on campus, a high level of care, support and quality supervision is provided at all times.

Admission
The school welcomes prospective parents and students to the Prem Center to see for themselves. For a tour of the school and to meet with the Head of School, call in to the Prem Center.
