Founded in 1981, ISS International School has a long history of preparing students to be future leaders in their community. Our international curriculum offers opportunities to study for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma or our American High School Diploma. Our Elementary School is an authorized International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IBPYP) school and our Middle School is seeking International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program authorization (IBMYP).
As well as setting high academic standards, our school actively promotes international understanding amongst the student body and believes in the importance of an effective partnership between home and the school.
Our multi-cultural community comprises 500 students from 45 different nationalities. The ISS academic faculty is mainly from the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Australia. All of our teachers are degree holders and licensed teaching professionals. Many hold postgraduate qualifications.
We are also proud to say that our school has graduated alumni that have progressed to competitive universities around the world. In June 2002, our graduates were accepted to the London School of Economics, Bristol University, the University of Toronto among others.
ISS is an authorized IB World School. ISS is a member of the East Asia Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS) and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). ISS is also recognized by the Ministry of Education Singapore.
